Colemans

This site was home to Bramley Park a Neo-Georgian Manor house dating back to 1840.  The house was demolished in the 1950s and had been used as a builders yard until 2018.

The intention was to reproduce a similar style house in a mature woodland setting.  The PDL (Previously Developed Land) status allowed for this site in the GB/AONB and AGLV to be brought forward.  The proposal for eight dwellings did not include any affordable, but an off-site contribution was made.  The initial stage engaged with the parish council who welcomed the proposal for the removal of the builders yard and HGV traffic movements. These were seen as benefits to Park Drive residents and the wider community. The remediation of the builders yard and other associated costs required an off-site affordable housing agreement with Waverley BC. This aspect was supported by Bramley PC and was successful at committee, receiving unanimous support.
