The application should’ve come forward as one, but EDDC started to become awkward after first supporting the scheme. The first two phases were won on appeal. The third application the local authority supported. The remaining land is now progressing with the Strategic Planners into the local plan, for a small-scale release for 5-6 dwellings. These will be carbon neutral, using deep bore ground source heat pumps, weatherboarded and grey water recycling.
